Place the damaged PSP on the soft cloth with the disc drive door facing away from you. Remove the memory card from the memory card slot on the right side edge of the PSP.
Turn the PSP over. Remove the battery compartment lid and take out the battery.
Scratch off the sticker inside of the battery compartment with the tip of the Phillips jeweler's screwdriver. Remove the screw.
Remove the three other screws from inside of the battery compartment with the screwdriver.
Turn the PSP over. Insert the tip of the Phillips jeweler's screwdriver into the bottom middle edge of the faceplate.
Carefully lift up the bottom edge of the faceplate with the tip of the screwdriver. Lift the right corner of the faceplate up with your fingers.
Lift the black plastic cable that is loose in the lower right corner edge of the PSP with the tweezers.
Insert the cable's plug into the connection in the white box directly above it. Push down on the cable's plug with the tweezers.
Close the faceplate back onto the PSP. Turn the PSP over. Reattach the screws in the battery compartment.
Put the battery back into the battery compartment and replace the lid.
Turn the PSP over. Release the disc drive door latch to the right of the disc drive door with your fingers. Pull the door open. Put a PSP game disc into the disc drive and close the door with your fingers.
Insert the AC plug of the PSP battery charger into the battery port on the lower right corner of the PSP. Plug the PSP battery charger into a wall socket.
Remove the AC plug from the battery port after three hours and turn on your PSP.
