Instructions

    • 1

Download and install onto your computer the TypeB driver found at mediafire.com (see resources). Click the start download button and save it to which ever folder you wish. Installing will be easy just follow the on-screen instructions.

    • 2

Download Remote Joy Lite from warezlobby.org (see resources). Make a new folder on your desktop and name it Remote Joy Lite and download the program into here. You will need to use this folder every time you want to play your PSP using your computer.

    • 3

Turn on the PSP and plug the USB cord into the PSP and the computer. Plug the bigger end of the USB cord into the computer and the smaller end into the top of the PSP. When you plug in the PSP, a window will pop up on your computer asking how you would like to run the program. Select the folder option.

    • 4

Open the the Remote Joy Lite file you just downloaded and copy the Remote Joy Lite.prx file from it to the "SEPLUGINS" folder. Open up the "VSH" file in the "SEPLUGINS" folder; if you don't have one you can create one using a Word document. Once you have the file open and/or created, add this line into it and save it: ms0:/seplugins/remotejoylite.prx with no spaces.

    • 5

Go back to the root menu of the PSP (beginning folder). Open up the "GAME" folder and find the second "VSH" file and copy this line in again: ms0:/seplugins/remotejoylite.prx. Both "VSH" files should have the same wording.

    • 6

Disconnect your PSP from your computer and shut it down. Wait five seconds and then turn it back on. Before you turn it back on hold down on the right shoulder button and keep holding it down until the screen shows up. You should see a different screen then you usually see on start up.

    • 7

Scroll down on the PSP until you see the plug-ins option and select it. You should see three options on the next screen, make sure they are all running. Save the changes and shut down the PSP.

    • 8

Plug the PSP back into the computer the same way you did before using the USB cord. Your PSP will need to be plugged in every time you are using your monitor as a PSP screen.

    • 9

Open your Remote Joy Lite folder and select the .exe program. When a window appears turn on your PSP. What is displayed on your PSP should also now be displayed on your computer monitor.
