Create a new folder on your computer desktop to save your PSP theme to. To create a new folder, right-click in an empty space on your desktop and select "New Folder." Title that folder "PSP."
Double-click on the new PSP folder. Then right-click inside the folder to create a sub-folder. Select "New Folder" again, and this time name your sub-folder "Theme."
Use your mouse to drag your theme on the computer and drop it into the "Theme" folder.
Insert your DUO memory stick into your PSP device, then power the PSP on.
Put the PSP in USB mode. USB mode tells your PSP to accept information via your USB cable. Select the "Settings" menu from your Home screen, then select "USB."
Insert your USB cable into your PSP device and into the computer's USB port.
Click on your "start" button on your computer's desktop. Then select "My Computer" and double-click on the drive that represents the PSP.
Drag your newly-created "PSP" folder with its sub-folder and themes and drop it into the drive that represents your PSP.
Disconnect your PSP from the computer.
Select the "Settings" menu on the PSP's Home screen. Select "Theme Settings" and then "Theme." Your new theme will appear in the list of themes. Scroll your options with your navigation keys and select your theme with your "X" button.
