Instructions for God of War for PSP

"God of War: Chains of Olympus" is a version of the popular PlayStation 2 "God of War" game available for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). In the game you play as Kratos and must face many characters from Greek mythology using combat attacks. To attack enemies you can perform special magic moves and throw objects, such as statues, at your opponents. You advance in the game by defeating the boss of each level and watching the cinematic cut-scenes that resolve the plot.

Instructions

  Start the game and select the "Play" option by pressing the "X" button. Watch the cut-scene and you will then be quickly thrown into action on a rooftop where you must fight off enemies.

  Use the analog stick on your PSP to move Kratos around. Use the analog stick to also run, swim and climb in the game. Pres the "X" button to jump at any time or to swim while in water.

  Press the "square" button to perform a light attack or dive into water. Press the "circle" button to grab objects, perform an action or interact with other characters. Press the "triangle" button to perform a heavy attack.

  Press the "L" button to block an attack and press the "R" button to swim quickly or kick an object. Move an object in the game by pressing the "circle" button and the control stick at the same time.

  Press the "L" and "R" buttons at the same time and move around the control stick to perform an evasive move. Press the "R" and "square" buttons at the same time to perform a magic move.

  Press the "X" button twice while in the air to perform a double jump and press the "circle" button while in the air to perform an air grab. Press the "square" button to perform a horizontal attack while in the air and press the "triangle" button when in the air to perform a vertical attack.

  Press the "Start" button at any time to pause the game and access your inventory. Use the directional buttons on your PSP to highlight a menu item and press the "X" button to select any item. Press the "Select" or "Start" button to exit out of the menu.
