How to Create a Game Partition on a PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 comes with a hard drive ranging from 20 gigabytes to 160 gigabytes. This allows you to store games, music, movies and many other things on the system. If you plan on downloading PS2, and not PS3, games off of the Playstation Store, you will need to first partition the hard drive to have a PS2 game partition. This will allow you to store the games properly. You also need to partition the hard drive in order to install Linux onto the PS3.
