How to Update Adobe Flash Player on the PSP

Adobe's Flash player has been incorporated into the PSP system software starting at the 2.70 firmware update. The flash player allows you watch movies, browse the web and listen to music via the SWF file format. All of the updates to the Adobe Flash player for the PSP are sent through the system update for the PSP.

Instructions

      Turn on your Sony PSP and wait for it to boot into the PSP menu. Select the "System Update" icon which is located on the far left of the menu.

      Select "Update Via Internet" and select your wifi connection from the list that is displayed. Enter in a passcode if your internet is secured. Press the "X" button to agree to the terms of the software.

      Wait as your Sony PSP is updated to the most recent firmware number, and your Adobe Flash player for the PSP will be updated to the most recent revision.
