PlayStation Store
Turn on your PSP and log into your PSN account. If you haven't created an account yet, you can do so by going to the "Network" menu and selecting the "Account" icon from the XMB dashboard.
Visit the PlayStation Store and browse the music section. Choose a song and add it to your download queue by selecting "Download."
Confirm that you want to download the song, and then download it to your PSP memory stick. When the download is complete, you'll find it by accessing the memory stick icon from the "Music" menu on your XMB dashboard.
Direct to Memory Stick
Insert your PSP memory stick into your computer's card reader. Once the computer has recognized the memory stick, a corresponding icon will appear in "My Computer," or "Computer."
Open the memory stick by double-clicking its icon and locating the "MUSIC" folder.
Copy your music files from your computer to the MUSIC folder on your PSP memory stick.
Remove the memory stick from your computer and reinsert it into your PSP. You'll find your music by accessing the memory stick icon in the Music menu on the XMB dashboard.

Log into your PSN Account and open the PSP Internet browser.
Visit a website that offers direct downloads of music files.
Choose a song you'd like to download and highlight the download link. Click the link and the PSP will prompt you about downloading files to the memory stick. Confirm that you wish to download the file and the PSP will save it to the MUSIC folder.
