How to Download PSP Themes Using USB

The Sony PSP can be themed using the Playstation Store (PSN) and the Sony Media Go software. This is useful to those who cannot connect their PSP's to the Internet, and would also like to take advantage of all the extra PSP content on the PSN Store. Using only a USB cable, you can connect the PSP and install as many themes onto your PSP as you can think of.

  Download Sony Media Go from the Sony Creative Software website. It is free software that allows access to the PSN Store.

  Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable, selecting "USB Connection" from the PSP menu. Open Media Go. The software will automatically recognize your PSP.

  Click the "Playstation Store" link on the upper left menu from the Media Go main page. Sign into your PSN account, or enter in your information to set up a new account.

  Select the "Themes" section for the PSP and browse the available themes. Select one and click "Add to cart." Click "Checkout" when you are ready to purchase the themes.

  Enter in your credit card/Playstation Points card information and your theme will be downloaded and installed onto your PSP. Press the "O" button on the PSP to safely disconnect the PSP from the computer.

  Navigate through the PSP menu and select "Theme Settings" and select your theme from the list that appears. The theme will be applied.
