How to Fix a PSP Umd Game Slot

Place the UMD game disc on the soft cloth with the slot in the plastic shell facing up.

Insert the tip of the flat-edged jeweler̵7;s screwdriver between the top and bottom shell of the UMD game disc case at the top center of the rounded edge. Wiggle the tip of the flat-edged jeweler̵7;s screwdriver to loosen the two shells from each other.

Hold the UMD game disc case so that the rounded edge is facing down. Pull the two shells apart slightly at the top rounded edge using your fingers. Shake the UMD game disc case so that the UMD game disc falls out onto the soft cloth.

Put the UMD game disc case on the soft cloth with the game slot facing up.

Pick up the UMD game disc by its edges with your right hand. Hold the compressed air in your left hand. Blow off both sides of the UMD game disc with the compressed air. Put the compressed air aside.

Pull the top shell of the UMD game disc case slightly apart at the top, rounded edge with the fingers of your left hand.

Insert the UMD game disc into the UMD game disc case between the top and bottom shells with the label facing down. Push the UMD game disc all the way into the UMD game disc case with your fingers

Push down on the UMD game disc case to snap the two shells together at the top rounded edge.

Wiggle the top shell of the UMD game disc case back and forth with your fingers until the game disc slot is centered at the bottom of the opposite end from the top rounded edge.

Release the UMD disc drive door̵7;s latch on the side of the top edge of the PPS. Pull the disc drive door open.

Insert the UMD game disc into the UMD disc drive and close the disc drive door.
