How Can I Get My PSP to Play Videos?

The Sony PlayStation Portable is a hand-held entertainment device capable of playing games, movies and music. Compatible formats, such as MP4 and AVI, can be played straight off the system's memory stick. Other formats, such as Flash, must be enabled in order for video content to work.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your PSP system and navigate to the "Settings" tab in the Xross Media Bar and select "System Settings."

    • 2

Select "Enable Flash Support" to enable Flash. You will need to connect to a wireless network in order for the process to complete. Flash content will now be viewable through the PSP's internet browser. The PSP supports Flash Version 6, so content that uses newer versions of Flash will not be supported.
