Converting and Downloading the Video
Find the YouTube video you want to put on your PSP Slim. Get the URL to the video by either highlighting it in the address bar and pressing "Ctrl" + "C" to copy it, or by clicking "Share" under the video and copying the URL from there.
Go to a website that converts videos. Paste the URL into the site's URL box by pressing "Ctrl" + "V." Choose the option "Mp4 for iPod/PSP" from the drop-down box and click "Start." A progress box will appear to show you how far along the conversion is; this might take a few minutes.
Click "Save" once you're prompted to save the file. Save the video file onto your desktop as an easily recognizable name--for example, the first couple of words of the video's title.
Transferring the Video File to Your PSP Slim
Plug your PSP into your computer with the USB cable. The USB port on your PSP Slim is at the top.
Go to your PSP's settings tab and select "USB Connection." A window will appear on your computer that gives you the option to open your PSP files as a folder. Select this option.
Find your PSP's "VIDEO" folder. If the "VIDEO" folder isn't there, right-click the main folder and select "Create New Folder." Name this new folder "VIDEO."
Go back to where you saved the video file. Right-click on the file, then select "Copy." Click on the PSP's "VIDEO" folder, then press "Ctrl" + "V" on your keyboard to paste the file into the folder. Unplug your PSP from your computer. The video will now be on your PSP Slim.
