How Can I Make My PSP Play MPEG Videos?

The PlayStation Portable, PSP, allows users to do a lot more than just play video games. The PSP is a full-blown multimedia device. Users can listen to music and watch videos as well. PSP has marketed a special line of UMD discs that support video games and movies. Users can also save their favorite MPEG-4 or AVI videos onto the PSP device itself or a Duo Memory Stick.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert your Duo Memory Stick into your PSP, unless you are saving your MPEG video to the internal memory of the device.

    • 2

      Power on your PSP.

Insert your USB cable into the PSP and insert the other end of the cable into your computer's USB port.

Locate the Movie or Video folder (depending upon the PSP version) inside the PSP device folder, then drag your MPEG movies from your computer and drop them into the Movie or Video folder.
