Instructions
Download a WMA activation program to the computer's desktop, for example, the ̶0;Enable Flash and WMA̶1; program file (see the link in Resources). Double-click on the file to decompress it to a folder on the desktop.
Attach the PSP connector of the PSP to USB cable to the PSP. Attach the other end of the cable to a USB port on the computer.
Insert the memory stick into the PSP̵7;s memory stick slot. Turn the PSP on.
Navigate to the ̶0;Settings̶1; icon. Select ̶0;USB Mode̶1; from beneath the ̶0;Settings̶1; icon. Wait for the memory stick's icon to appear on the computer's desktop.
Double-click on the memory stick's icon to open its window. Double-click on the ̶0;Enable Flash and WMA̶1; program folder to open its window.
Drag the contents of the ̶0;Enable Flash and WMA̶1; folder, with the exception of the ̶0;fonthack̶1; folder, into the window of the memory stick.
Drag the ̶0;fonthack̶1; folder into the ̶0;Photos̶1; folder inside of the memory stick̵7;s window.
Right-click on the memory stick's icon. Select ̶0;Eject̶1; from the pop-up menu.
Navigate back to the Home menu on the PSP. Remove the PSP to USB cable.
Navigate to the ̶0;Photos̶1; icon on the PSP. Select the ̶0;fonthack̶1; folder from the list of choices presented beneath ̶0;Photos.̶1;
Select the ̶0;fonthack̶1; program from the list of choices presented to the right of the ̶0;fonthack̶1; folder. Press the ̶0;X̶1; button to activate the ̶0;fonthack̶1; program.
Press the ̶0;O̶1; button as soon as the ̶0;fonthack̶1; program starts. Count to 30. Release the ̶0;O̶1; button. Press the ̶0;Home̶1; button. Wait for the PSP to reboot. The PSP will now be able to play WMA files.
