"Madden NFL 08" is a football-based game for the Sony PSP portable video game console. In "Madden NFL 08," the player has full control over an NFL team. Making trades, drafting players and setting rosters are all integral parts of the game experience. The game also introduces the Superstar Challengers feature that puts the player in challenging scenarios that played out during the 2007 NFL football season. Draft Pick Hint
- In Dynasty mode, the player assumes full control of the general manager responsibilities that pertain to roster building. One aspect of Dynasty mode is a yearly NFL draft. There is a hint to stock up on multiple draft picks in Dynasty mode. Begin by playing a full season. Once the full season is completed and before advancing to the next season, go to the trading block. At the trading block, take the first-round draft pick and offer it to teams for a first-, second- and fourth-round pick. A number of teams will probably offer this package of picks for the first-round draft choice. Once the other picks have been acquired, offer up the second-, third- and fourth-round picks on the trading block and ask for a first-, third- and fourth-rounder. Trading picks back and forth will allow the player to stock up on first-round picks for the franchise. This will give the team and player the opportunity to select multiple first-round draft choices in the draft.
Player Weapons Hint
- A new feature in "Madden NFL 08" for the PSP is a player weapons feature. With the player weapons feature, it is easy to tell if any of their players have special weapon abilities. For instance, if a football player on the team has a star indicator next to their name, this means that particular player can make big plays. If the football player has a pair of wings indicator next to their name, this means that the player possesses elite speed. If the player has a smart quarterback indicator next to their name, then the player possesses elite play-making ability.
Easy Win Cheat
- There is an easy way to win games in "Madden NFL 08." To easily beat opponents in "Madden NFL 08," first enter the game. Before playing any downs in the game, pause and go to the menu. In the Options menu there will be an area where the artificial intelligence settings can be changed for both teams. The player should then raise the artificial intelligence of their own team and lower the opposing team's artificial intelligence. This will result in easy victories most of the time.
