How to Fix a Short Circuit in a PSP

A power surge when the PlayStation Portable is plugged into the wall can short circuit the fuse placed inside the console. This renders the PSP unworkable. You can bypass the fuse so the PSP will work again if you are willing to open the portable game console and void the Sony warranty. You will need a few hardware supplies and familiarity with a soldering iron. Only fix the fuse short circuit if you are not willing to pay the fee or lose the time by taking the PSP into an authorized service center.
