How to Install an External WiFi Antenna to a PSP

The PlayStation Portable has a built-in antenna for accessing a wireless (Wi-Fi) network. You can improve the ability of the PSP to receive and transmit data by installing an external Wi-Fi antenna to the PSP, although this will void the Sony warranty. You will need to open the PSP and disassemble a number of the internal components. Do not do this unless your wireless reception is so insufficient that installing an external Wi-Fi antenna is the only option that makes sense.
