How to Set Up PSP Wireless LAN

If you connect your Sony PSP to a wireless local area network, you can then use it to play other PSP owners in multiplayer games or even access the Internet. Once online you can download exclusive content for games and even play opponents from all over the world. The PSP has built in wireless networking capabilities, so if you want to connect your unit to a wireless LAN all you have to do is enter the appropriate menu and select the correct settings.

      Turn on your Sony PSP.

      Select "Settings."

      Select "Network Settings."

      Select "Infrastructure Mode."

      Select "New Connection."

      Type in a name for your wireless local area network connection.

      Select the "Scan" option. Your PSP will scan the surrounding area for traces of your wireless local area network connection.

      Select the name of your wireless LAN setup.

      Select the "Easy" connection settings option.

      Tap the "X" button to save your settings. Your Sony PSP is now connected to your wireless local area network.
