Converting Unsupported Videos to PSP
Download and install one of the programs from the Resources section of this guide.
Open PSP Video 9 and click "Video file" from the main menu. Click on the video file you would like to convert to PSP format and click "OK" to load it into the program. Enter in a new name for the file in the next line. On the last line select a place to save the new PSP video file. Click "Next" button to verify the settings and click "Start Converting" to convert the video file.
Open Daniusoft and click the "Load file" button from the top of the main menu. Select your video file from the new window that appears to load it into the program. Click "Target path" and select a place to save the new video file. Click "Start" and your video will be converted.
Open Arcsoft MediaConverter and click the "Add video file" button from the main menu. Select your video that you want to convert and click "OK" to add it to MediaConverter. Click the PSP icon from the left side of the main menu. This will set the optimal PSP conversion settings. Click "Start" to convert the video.
Playing Video on the PSP
Turn on your Sony PSP and connect it to your computer with its USB cable. Click the "USB Connection" to place the PSP into USB mode. A window will appear, giving you access to the PSP memory stick.
Locate the "VIDEO" folder on the PSP memory stick. This is where you will place your converted video. Locate the video that you converted and right-click it. Click "Copy" and go back to the "VIDEO" folder. Right-click the "VIDEO" folder and click "Paste" to transfer the video to the PSP.
Press the "O" button on the PSP to safely disconnect it from the computer. Go into the PSP menu and select your video to play.
