How to Use Wired Internet on the PSP

The Playstation Portable or PSP is a handheld portable gaming device. Outside of the traditional gaming, the PSP also offers Wi-Fi, Internet browsing and the Playstation store to name a few features. Additionally, you can connect to the Internet through using a USB cable.

Internet cable
Mini USB adapter

  Identify your Internet modem connections on your computer. Most computers have a numbered Ethernet ports. This will help determine the type of cable and mini-USB adapter you will need to connect your PSP to your computer.

  Insert the mini-USB adapter compatible with your computer's Internet modem. If your computer modem has an Ethernet connection, use a mini-USB to Ethernet adapter.

  Insert the correct cable into your modem's outgoing port. Connect the Internet cable to the mini-USB adapter.

  Insert the other end of your mini-USB adapter into the PSP mini-USB port. Now your PSP is connected to the Internet.
