How to Convert an AVI to MP4 for a PSP

The Sony PSP is an all-in-one portable media player. It plays PSP games, music files and video files. The MP4 is played most often on a PSP, so converting your video files is a must. An AVI file can easily be converted into PSP format with one of these easy-to-use programs.

  Download PSP Video 9 and install it. Click "Video file," and select your video file from your computer to load it into the program. Select the next box and verify a place where you would like to save the PSP file. Name the file in the next line, and click "Next" to verify your settings. Click "Start converting" to create your PSP video file.

  Download MediaConverter 4, and click "Add video file" from the main menu. Select your video file, and click "OK" to load it into the program. Locate the PSP icon on the left-side of the menu, and click it. Click the "Start" button, and your video will be created.

  Download and install Daniusoft. Open the program, click "Load file," and select your video file from the window that appears. Click "OK," and select the save location on the next line. Click "Start," and your AVI will be converted.
