How to Put Movies on Your PSP From Your PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable were designed as complementary systems. As such, they have the ability to share content and easily transfer movies and other data from one system to the other. If you have movies stored on your PS3, all you have to do is plug in your PSP and transfer the content to enjoy it on the go with your PSP.

      Connect your PSP to the PS3 with the PSP's USB cable. The small end of the USB cable will connect to your PSP and the large end will insert into your PS3.

      Turn on your PSP and go to the "Settings" tab to put it into USB mode. Select "USB Connection."

      Go to the "Video" tab on your PS3. You will find your PSP listed as a storage device.

      Highlight the movie that you wish to copy and press "Triangle" on the controller.

      Select "Copy," then select your PSP as the device to which you wish to copy the file.
