How to Save to the PSP Without a Memory Stick

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) features a very limited internal memory and requires a Memory Stick Duo in order to save game data. Its latest iteration, the PSPgo, features a larger, 16 gigabyte internal drive so you can save data without a memory stick. The PSPgo is essentially the same system as the original PSP since it plays the same games and features the same processors, but it lacks a UMD disc drive and has a slightly smaller screen.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on your PSPgo without a memory stick inserted.

    • 2

Select ̶0;Games̶1; from the main menu, and then select ̶0;System Memory̶1; to play games stored on your PSPgo̵7;s internal memory.

    • 3

Play the game as normal. All saved data will be stored directly onto your PSPgo̵7;s internal memory, providing it is not full.
