Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert the small end of your component or composite cable into the bottom of your PSP Slim or PSPgo. Gamers with a standard-definition television will use a composite cable, while HDTV owners should use component cables.
Attach the colored plugs of the cable into your television. If you're using composite cables, the plugs are red, yellow and white. Component cables feature green, white, blue and two red plugs.
Power on and switch the input of your television's display to match where the plugs have been inserted. For example, you may need to change your television to "Video" or "Aux." The input you switch to should be listed next to where you have inserted the cable.
Turn your PSP Slim or PSPgo on and wait for the cross-media bar to appear. Press and hold the "Display" button for five seconds. (The "Display" button resembles a television screen near the lower portion of the handheld.) The cross-media bar will transfer to your television screen and be displayed.
Navigate the cross-media bar with your PSP's control stick or directional buttons. Select to begin a game or video, then press "X."
Tap the "Display" button at any time to revert the image back to your PSP system.
