Instructions
Put newspaper down on a table. Put a male-to-female USB connector on the newspaper. Use wire cutters to cut off the female plug from the male-to-female USB connector. Discard the rest of the male-to-female USB connector.
Wrap one of the two conductive pins of a 5.1 center diode to the left metal prong on the female USB connector. Wrap the other conductive pin of the 5.1 center diode to the right metal prong on the female USB connector.
Wrap the black wire from a 9-volt battery snap around the left metal prong of the female USB connector.
Wrap one of the two conductive pins of a 30-ohm resistor around the right metal prong of the female USB connector. Wrap the red wire from the 9-volt battery snap around the other conductive pin of the 30-ohm resistor.
Use a soldering iron to solder all of the connections that have been made to the female USB connector: the 9-volt battery snap, the 30-ohm resistor and the
Attach a 9-volt battery to the 9-volt battery snap. The homemade USB battery is now completed.
