How to Put Video on PSP Slim

The Sony PSP Slim is the thinner brother of the original PSP. Like the original PSP, the Slim can play video games, music and movies. Movies look especially good on its large widescreen display. Putting movies onto the PSP Slim is done much the same way as the original PSP, and depending on the size of your PSP memory stick you can place a whole cross-country drive of movies onto your PSP.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your Sony PSP and wait for it to boot to the PSP menu. The PSP menu is called the "XMB."

    • 2

Insert your memory stick into your Sony PSP. Insert your USB cable into the PSP USB port and connect the other side to your computer's USB port.

    • 3

Open your PSP memory stick on your computer and locate the "VIDEO" folder. If there is no folder, create a "VIDEO" folder. Make sure the name is in all capital letters.

    • 4

Copy/paste your PSP movie into the "VIDEO" folder. Wait as it transfers over to the PSP memory stick.

    • 5

Press the "O" button on the PSP gamepad to safely eject the PSP from your computer. Navigate to the video section of the PSP XMB and your movie will be there. Select it with "X" to play.
