How to Download a Flash Player to a PSP

The PSP, or PlayStation Portable, is much more than just a portable game console. You can surf the Internet, chat on Skype, listen to music and watch UMD movies and Flash videos. If your PSP software is version 2.70 or higher, you already have the Flash Player and just need to enable it. If you have an older version of the PSP software, you need to update it before you can watch Flash videos. The updates are available at the PlayStation support website.

     Use Wi-Fi or a direct connection to connect your PSP to the Internet.

     Select "Network," which is located on the main menu. Press "X" to select the Internet browser.

     Cue the Internet browser menu by pressing the triangle button.

     Scroll to the "Tools" selection, then choose "Settings" and then go to "View Settings."

     Select "Flash" with the "X" button, and then enable it by selecting "On."
