Power on your PSP and allow it to start. Navigate to ̶0;Settings̶1; on the PSP and select ̶0;Network Settings.̶1; Press ̶0;X̶1; on your PSP to continue.
Choose ̶0;Infrastructure Mode̶1; as the connection method. This method is required to connect to the Internet on your PSP. Press the ̶0;X̶1; button on the PSP.
Choose the ̶0;New Connection̶1; option from the menu. Press ̶0;X̶1; to continue. Highlight ̶0;Scan̶1; and press ̶0;Right̶1; on the PSP's directional pad. The PSP scans for available wireless access points.
Select the wireless connection you would like to use. If you are connecting from your home's wireless router, choose the wireless connection labeled with your router's SSID. Press ̶0;X̶1; on the PSP and press ̶0;Right̶1; on the directional pad.
Select the type of security the PSP will use to connect to the wireless access point. This selection must match the wireless security you set up on your router. If you did not set up the router or access point, contact the network's administrator for security information. Press ̶0;Right̶1; on the PSP's directional pad to continue.
Press ̶0;X̶1; to input the security key or password for the wireless connection you selected. Press ̶0;Right̶1; on the directional pad. Select ̶0;Easy̶1; and press ̶0;Right̶1; on the directional pad again to continue.
Press ̶0;X̶1; to type the name the PSP will use to identify your new Internet connection. Press ̶0;Right̶1; to proceed after you type the connection name. Review your settings and press ̶0;Right̶1; again to continue. Press ̶0;X̶1; to save your Internet connection settings.
Select ̶0;Test Connection̶1; and press ̶0;X̶1; to begin the Internet connectivity test. Review the test results and check the Internet Connection status. The test results will show ̶0;Succeeded̶1; next to ̶0;Internet Connection̶1; if the Internet configuration works.
