Playing UMD
Press the button on the top of the PSP right above the UMD slot. This will open the UMD cover.
Insert the UMD game that you want to play into the UMD slot with the label facing the back of the PSP system.
Gently push the cover back in until it is fully closed.
Download Games to PSP
Download the "Media Go" program. Save the file to your desktop.
Double click the "mediago_setup.exe" file. Complete the installation as requested on your screen. At the end of the installation, place a check next to the "Launch this program" option and click "Finish." The program will start.
Click the "Playstation Store" icon. Select "Games" or "Game Demos." Select the games you want to download.
Insert a memory stick into the "Memory" slot on the PSP (if you're using a PSP with a hard drive, skip this). Connect the PSP to your computer using the USB sync cable. Turn the PSP on. Scroll to the "Settings" menu. Select "USB Mode." Your computer will detect the PSP.
Select the "Downloads" icon on Media Go. Right-click the game you want to download and select "Transfer to PSP."
Transferring Music to PSP
Insert a memory stick into the memory slot on the PSP (if you're using a PSP with a hard drive, skip this). Connect the PSP to your computer using the USB sync cable. Turn the PSP on. Scroll to the "Settings" menu. Select "USB Mode.". Your computer will detect the PSP.
Click the "Start" button in the taskbar. Click "My Computer."
Double click "PSP/Removable Disk." Double click the "Media" folder.
Double click the "Music" folder. Drag and drop the music files you want on the PSP into the "Music" folder.
