How to Put Crash Team Racing on a PSP

Being able to play older PlayStation games, such as "Crash Team Racing," on a PlayStation Portable is a dream that has been realized with the introduction of the PSX2PSP software. The software takes the PlayStation game's raw data and converts it to the Eboot format. The PSP recognizes that format as a playable medium.

Instructions

      Download and install IsoBuster and PSX2PSP onto your computer. There are links in the Resources section.

      Insert a Crash Team Racing disc into your computer. Close any windows that appear.

      Open IsoBuster and right-click the disk drive. Click ̶0;Extract CD Raw,̶1; which will rip the game to your computer. A new window will appear. Browse to where you want to save the game and click ̶0;Save̶1; to verify.

      Navigate to where the game files were ripped and select the file ending in ̶0;.BIN,̶1; then add ̶0;.ISO̶1; to the end of the file name. Open PSX2PSP and click the ̶0;ISO/PBP File̶1; box. A new window will appear. Browse to where the ̶0;BIN.ISO̶1; file is and select it.

      Click the ̶0;Output PBP Folder̶1; and browse to where you want to save the new PSP game file. Click ̶0;Convert̶1; and the file will be converted to PSP format.

      Connect your PSP to your computer and place the game file in the ̶0;GAME̶1; folder on your Memory Stick.
