How to Import Videos on Your PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable gaming system is a multi-purpose machine. It can download and play music files. save picture files and save and play video files. It does all this on top of its primary purpose, playing video games. Importing video files to a PSP system is a simple process involving connecting the system to your computer. The procedure only takes a couple of minutes.

      Turn on your PSP handheld system.

      Connect your PSP system to your PC via the USB cable and an open USB port on your PC.

      Choose the "Settings" option on the main menu of your PSP. Go to "USB Connection" and then press the "X" button to activate it.

      Click the ̶0;Start̶1; button on the lower left corner of your computer̵7;s desktop, then click on the "My Computer" icon in the menu. A list of storage drives connected to your computer will be displayed. Your PSP's USB connection will appear among the "Removable Storage" drives.

      Drop and drag the video files you want to import into "My Computer," then drag and drop into your PSP's memory card folder. The video files are now in your PSP.

      Press the PSP̵7;s "Circle" button to exit the "USB Connection" settings menu and to enter the "Home" screen after the import completes.

      Remove the PSP from your PC by right clicking on the ̶0;Removable Storage̶1; icon in the lower right desktop taskbar and select the option to safely remove the device. After this, unplug the USB cable from your PC. You have imported video files into your PSP's memory card.
