How to Upgrade PSP Version Downloads

The Sony PlayStation Portable makes use of periodic firmware version upgrades. These updates fix bugs, add new features, and ensure that the PSP continues to work with newer games. Generally, these updates are downloaded and installed either when a game with a newer version is inserted or when the PSP connects to the Internet and a new update is available. If you do not have access to the Internet on your PSP and wish to upgrade your PSP version, follow these steps to download it off your computer and transfer it to your PSP.
