How to Convert Video to a PSP ISO Format

The ability for the PSP to play videos does not just stop at the MP4 and UMD medium. You can actually rip the ISO file off of the UMD movie and place it onto your PSP memory stick and play it from there. This means you can carry many more movies with you when you are on the go, and the process is actually quite simple, but you do need a PSP running custom firmware. Firmware is what runs the PSP, and the custom ones are created by everyday users and not Sony. Installing custom firmware onto your PSP is completely legal, so be not afraid.

Copy the ISO file you placed onto the computer into the ISO/VIDEO folder on your PSP. Wait for it to transfer and disconnect your PSP from the computer. Navigate through the PSP menu until you find the movie and select it to play.
