How to Change Movie Screen Size on a PSP

The PSP is capable of changing the viewing area of a movie or video file on the fly by simply going into the PSP control panel while the movie is playing. This is great if you have a video that is just way too small to view on the PSP's screen. You have the option to zoom, full screen, original size, normal and 4:3 sizes. This covers all of the sizes that you can view your video.

  Turn on your PSP by sliding the "Power" button upwards. Wait as the PSP boots. When you see your PSP menu, your PSP has booted up and is ready to use.

  Connect your PSP to your computer with your USB cable, and your PSP will automatically go into USB mode. On your computer you will see a PSP drive pop up. Click on the drive to open the PSP's memory stick.

  Open the VIDEO folder on the PSP memory stick and drag your video file into this folder. If you get an error when you transfer the file over it is because of the lack of room on the memory stick. Clear up some space and try it again.

  Disconnect your PSP from the computer and navigate to the movie on the PSP menu. Select it and it will begin to play. Press the "--" button and your Control Panel will appear. Select Screen Mode and change the screen size to better fit your movie. Press "--" again to make the Control Panel disappear.
