How to Convert a Video to PSP With the Smallest File Size

Maximizing the use of your devices is difficult sometimes with all of the new products coming out, and the PSP is no different. There are so many different video file types out there, but the PSP only plays MP4 videos. These can be pretty big in size, lessening the amount that you can place onto your PSP. Getting that file to a smaller size is possible, and the quality difference is minimal.

Download and install PSP Video 9 from the resource section in this guide. It is a free program that lets you take a video file and convert it into a PSP video.

Open the program and select "Convert Video File" from the home screen. On the next page you will be asked to browse to where the video file is that you want to convert. Do so by selecting the browse button near the bottom of the screen. Click "Next" when you have done so.

Select where you would like to save the new file when it is converted. By default the program will save it in your Documents folder. You can change it if you want, but you do not have to. Next, you need to name the file, which can be done by simply typing a name in the space next to the option. Click "Next."
