How to Charge a Pandora Battery

Third-party Pandora batteries can be used to power the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) gaming system. They are highly sought after for their ability to install custom firmware and homebrew applications which are user-made programs and games available on the Internet. Most Sony-brand PSP batteries can also be opened up and modified to behave like a Pandora battery. A Pandora battery has no effect on battery life or game playing; it simply offers the ability to run programs that would not normally work on any PSP system. Charging a Pandora battery is effectively the same as charging a PSP battery, but occasionally difficulties can arise.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug your PSP AC adapter into wall outlet. Ensure that your PSP is able to charge by plugging it into the charger with an official battery inserted. When plugged in and properly charging, the battery icon at the top of the screen will blink or appear to slowly fill.

    • 2

Unplug the PSP and remove the battery. Insert the Pandora battery into the back of the PSP.

    • 3

Plug the PSP back into the wall and power up the system. Check to see if the battery icon on the top of the screen indicates the battery is charging. If it is animated or blinking, your battery is properly charging. A battery icon that appears stationary or empty may indicate a faulty Pandora battery.
