How to Transfer Files From a Computer to a PSP Without a USB Cable

Many PSP users have wanted the capability to transfer files to and from their PC to their PSP for a long time. However, this has been impossible because of the lack of Bluetooth in the PSP. With the use of a few free programs, the dream can now be realized and you can transfer files to your PSP without any wires involved.

PHP5
Abyss Web Server
Wireless router

  Download and install PHP5. You can do this by going to the Resource section, downloading PHP5 and then double-clicking the file you downloaded. After the installer is complete, click "Finish" to exit the installer.

  Download and install Abyss Web Server from the site in Resources. Do this the same way as installing PHP5. When you are asked, create a username and password.

  Open a web browser window and enter "localhast:9999." This will bring you to the web server configuration. Select "Host," "Configure." Change the document path to where you store your files that are to be moved to the PSP. Click "OK," then "Restart" to restart the program with your new settings.

  Click "Configure" once more and now go to the "Edit" menu. Add "index.php" to the index files. Click on "Scripting Parameters" and make sure that the box next to "Enable Script Execution" is checked. Next, click on the "Interpreters" table and click "Add." Browse and find "php-cgi.exe." This is located in the place where you installed PHP5. After you have selected the proper file, select "Type" and change it to "PHP Style."

  Add PHP to the "Associated Extensions" and click "OK." On the "Custom Environmental Variables," click "Add" and enter in "REDIRECT_STATUS" as the name and "200" as the value. Click "Save" and the program will restart itself.

  Turn on your PSP and make sure you are connected to the same wireless access point as your computer. Open its browser and enter in your IP address. Your IP address usually will be in 192.xxx.x.xxx format. After the window loads, you will be able to move the files from your computer to your PSP.
