How to Put MP4 Videos on PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable is a handheld video game device. It is also capable of web browsing, video and audio playback, viewing photos, and downloading additional content for games. To transfer MP4 video to the PSP, all you need is the proprietary USB cable. These usually come packaged with the PSP, however, they can be purchased separately and are relatively cheap.

  Connect the PSP to your computer using the USB cable. Turn the PSP on.

  Go to the "Home" menu on the PSP. Scroll down until you see "USB Mode." Set the USB Mode to active. This will open a window on your computer displaying the media contents on your PSP.

  Click the "Videos" folder.

  Place the MP4 videos you want on your PSP into the "Videos" folder.

  Disconnect the USB cable from the PSP by pressing the "Circle" button.

  Go to the "Home" menu. Scroll down and find the "Videos" section. Here, you will be able to watch all the videos that have been placed inside the "Videos" folder.
