How to Play Socom 2 on the PSP Online

SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Bravo 2 is a third person shooter. It was released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld system. The game has several different multiplayer modes, including Tug of War, Capture the Flag and Target modes. Multiplayer games of SOCOM 2 can be played online by setting an infrastructure connection on the PSP system. This allows the PSP to connect online through a nearby wireless network.

Instructions

      Select "Network Settings" from the PSP system menu. This is the menu that comes up when the PSP is turned on without a game inserted.

      Select "Infrastructure Mode."

      Select "[New Connection]."

      Select "Scan."

      Select the wireless network you want to connect to from the list that comes up. This should almost always be the wireless network with the highest signal strength.

      Enter the security information needed to connect to the network. Open networks do not require this information.

      Save the infrastructure settings you entered. Test the connection to make sure your PSP can connect online through the network.

      Start "SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Bravo 2."

      Select "Infrastructure" from the SOCOM 2 game menu. You will automatically connect online and be ready to play.
