How to Put ISO Games on PSP

Installing homebrew games onto your PSP is a great to bring many games with you instead of lugging around ten or twenty PSP discs. Installing homebrew games is also completely legal, as is installing custom firmware onto a PSP. Sony advises against it, as it could damage the device. Firmware is the software that runs the PSP, allowing you to play games, music and movies. Homebrew games that are in ISO form can be easily played on PSP devices running custom firmware.

Instructions

Connect your PSP to your computer. Open up your PSP memory stick to browse the available folders and files. There should be about ten folders located in the root of the memory stick. The root of the memory stick is what you see when you open it up inside your computer.

Find the ISO file you are looking to copy over to the PSP. It can be named anything, but it needs to have .iso at the end of the name. Make sure you see how big the ISO image is before you move it over to the memory stick.

Copy and paste the ISO file into the folder that is named "ISO" and wait for the file to be completely transferred over before you disconnect the PSP from the computer.

Disconnect the PSP from the computer and navigate the PSP game menu until you find the game you just installed.
