Charge the Sony battery to a full charge. Remove it from the PSP Slim and put the PSP slim aside. Take the small flat-edged screwdriver and pry open the battery casing around the cells. Take the screwdriver and carefully break off one of the connections on the board connected to the battery. Put the casing back on the battery and put it aside.
Go to the Catb50 Team website (see Resources) and download the Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator v2.0 to the computer. Unzip the program. Attach the memory stick to the computer using a memory card reader. Run the Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator v2.0 to load a program called Despertar del Cementerio onto the memory stick. Click on the memory stick icon in "Devices" to eject it from the computer. Remove the memory stick from the memory card reader.
Put the memory stick into the memory slot of the PSP Slim. Insert the battery that had the connection cut off from it into the battery compartment of the PSP Slim. Put on the battery cover and put the PSP slim down face up. Wait for the PSP Slim to boot on its own.
Press the "X" button on the PSP Slim when a prompt on the video screen asks for it. Wait as the memory stick loads the files to the PSP Slim. Turn off the PSP Slim when the installation is complete. Remove the memory stick. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and put it and the memory stick away.
Put in the spare battery into the PSP Slim's battery compartment and close the battery compartment. Turn on the PSP while holding down the "L" and "R" buttons together. Select "Advanced Settings" from the menu that appears and choose "Format flash1 and reset all settings" using the DPad to highlight the choice. Press "X" to activate the setting. Click the "Back" menu choice and then click on "Exit." Turn off the PSP Slim. Turn the PSP Slim on and enjoy all the new ways it can be used.
