Things You'll Need
Instructions
With the device turned off, take off the battery cover of the PSP and remove the battery. There is a screw located at the top-left corner of the battery well. Remove the screw carefully not to strip it.
Apply heat to the warranty sticker with the blow dryer until you are able to remove it without damaging it, thus saving your warranty. Remove the screw underneath the warranty sticker.
Remove the screws on the opposite side of your PSP located next to the memory card slot. These are sometimes difficult to remove as they are welled, so if you unscrew it completely and the screw will not come out, simply turn the PSP on its side and give it a little shake.
Remove the screw on the bottom of the PSP and the two screws on the top of the console. Starting at the bottom of the PSP, carefully lift the faceplate off of the unit.
