How to Install a PSP Screen Protector

Buying a protector for your PSP screen is a good investment, as it will hold the console's resale value much better and longer, and it will prevent you from having to replace the screen because of scratches, stains and burns. Generally, screen guards are inexpensive, and if you purchase a PSP case or skin, they often come free with your purchase.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your PSP and switch on the "hold" button by sliding the power down. This will prevent your PSP from turning on when you are attaching the screen guard.

    • 2

Separate one corner of the screen guard from its backing. With your PSP in front of you, line up the exposed corner of the screen guard with the PSP screen.

    • 3

Peel the backing off the screen guard while slowly sliding your credit card over the guard to push out the bubbles. You have one shot to make a perfect, bubble-free bond to the PSP screen, so take your time and do it right.

    • 4

Slide the credit card firmly across the entire screen guard once the backing has been removed. This will push out all of the remaining smaller bubbles.
