How to Get Internet on PSP Without Wipeout Pure

Before the introduction of newer Sony software for the PSP, there was no Internet browser that came with the device. There was, however, an exploit that people found. When you put Wipeout Pure into the device, a browser would appear in the menu. Now, all it takes is updating your device to the most recent software, and you are good to go.

Instructions

      Turn on your Sony PSP. You will be presented with the PSP home menu, which consists of a line of icons.

      Connect to a wi-fi router. Choose the "Network Update" icon that is located all the way to the left on the menu. Agree to the terms that come with the new software and install the new update.

      Navigate all the way to the right on the PSP home menu after the device restarts itself. You now will find a web browser. Click on the icon and start surfing the web.
