The first step is to change your UMD Auto Start Settings.
Once your settings have been changed, it's time to give your PSP a hard reset. Now remove your PSP battery. Push down on the battery cover, slide cover off, place finger on the battery at the top and pull back to remove. If you have trouble, use your small screwdriver to gently pop the battery out.
Once the battery is out, put any UMD in the PSP. Make sure it is a working UMD!
After you have the UMD In your PSP, replace your battery and cover, now your PSP should work!
Select Settings, System Settings, UMD Auto Start, and ON.
