Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the PSP and enable wireless access. The PSP's power switch is on the lower right corner of the system. The wireless access switch is on the lower left corner of the system for a PSP 1000 model or a PSP Go; for a PSP 2000 or 3000, it will be at the top of the system, next to the UMD slot.

    • 2

Select the "Settings" menu on your crossbar. Scroll down using the directional pad to "Network Settings" at the bottom of the menu.

    • 3

Select "Infrastructure Mode," then "New Connection" to start the set-up process. Several options are available for entering the information, but using the "Scan" setting is recommended, since the PSP will gather information from any nearby access point.

    • 4

Follow the on-screen menus for entering the information. First will be the SSID (the name of the network), followed by security settings, then address settings and finally the connection name (defaults to the SSID).

    • 5

Verify the information and save the settings. Afterward, you will be prompted to test the connection. Once the test is complete, scroll down to look for "Internet Connection." If it says "Succeeded," your connection is established and you can now access the Internet.
