How to Convert PlayStation Games to PSP

Instructions

  1. Create an ISO

    • 1

Insert your PSX game disc into your computer.

    • 2

Download and install IMGburn (see Resources).

    • 3

Open IMGburn once it's installed, and you will be greeted with a window where you can choose what you want to do with the program. Select \"Create image file from disc.\"

    • 4

Browse to find your PSX disc in your computer; select it, and run the program to create an ISO file.

    Create an Eboot file

    • 5

Download and install Popstation GUI (see Resources).

    • 6

Open Popstation GUI once it installs and browse for the ISO file you created. You will also be presented with a window to choose where you want to save the new EBOOT file that the program creates. Press \"Go\" to convert it to an EBOOT.

    • 7

Download the keys.bin file (see Resources) once you created the EBOOT file.

    • 8

Create a folder called whatever your game is named and put both the EBOOT file and the keys.bin file inside of it.

    • 9

Connect a PSP memory stick to the computer (either directly in a computer slot or with a PSP using a USB cord) and copy and paste the folder you created inside your PSP memory stick at Z:\\PSP\\GAME. Navigate through your PSP menu until you find your game and select it to play.
