How to Play PS1 Games on PSP

Setting Up Remote Play

  Connect your PSP to your PlayStation 3 with the USB cable. Turn both systems on.

  Highlight the "Settings" section of the PlayStation 3's menu. Select "Remote Play Settings."

  Select "Register Device." Select "Ok" when prompted.

  Highlight the "Settings" section of the PSP's menu. Select "USB Connection." The PSP will connect to the PlayStation 3.

  Select "Ok" when prompted on the PlayStation 3's screen to complete the registration process. Remove the USB cable from the PSP and PlayStation 3.

Using Remote Play

  Insert a PS1 game disc into the PlayStation 3, or download a PS1 game to the PlayStation 3 from the PlayStation Store.

  Highlight the "Network" section of the PSP's menu and select "Remote Play."

  Select either "Connect via Internet" or "Connect via Private Network," depending on the type of connection you have set up for your PSP. Select "Ok" when prompted.

  Select your PlayStation 3 from the menu to begin remote play.

  Highlight the "Games" section of the menu. Select the game you wish to play from the list provided to begin playing.
