How to Put PSX Games on My PSP

Sony has released several games for the original PlayStation, called PSX or PS1, that can now be played on the PSP. These games are available for purchase through the PSN Store, which can be accessed using any computer. PlayStation games purchased from the store can then be transferred onto a PSP using the console's included USB connector cable.

Instructions

      Download and install Media Go onto your computer.

      Launch Media Go and visit the PSN Store through the service.

      Select the PlayStation game you wish to purchase and download. Confirm your purchase to begin the download.

      Insert a memory stick into your PSP and power the console on.

      Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB connector cable.

      Enter USB mode on your PSP by selecting it from the far left side of your PSP's cross-media bar. Media Go will detect the console and display it within the program.

      Drag your downloaded PlayStation game from the Media Go library onto the PSP.

      Exit USB mode on the PSP and select the PlayStation game from the cross-media bar inside the "Memory Stick" sub-folder within the "Games" folder.

      Press the "X" button to launch the PSX game and begin playing.
