How to Save Audition Games to a PSP

Audition Portable, also known as Audition for short, is a musical game made for the PlayStation Portable. If you already own the game itself, and want to save yourself the hassle of switching UMD discs, you can save any game into your memory stick. All you need is a large enough memory stick to hold your PSP games.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase and use a larger sized PSP memory stick. These can come in sizes of 1GB to 16GB. The larger the storage capacity of a memory stick, the more games it can hold.

    • 2

Download your PSP Audition game from a website (such as allpspgames.com). Ensure that if it comes as a zip format to unzip the contents into your computer after download.

    • 3

Connect the USB cable between the PSP and the computer. Do this by inserting the larger section of the cable into your computer's USB port while the smaller end connects to the PSP.

    • 4

Enable your PSP to enter into USB mode. Do this by pressing the "Home" button on your PSP and scroll to "Settings." Finally, scroll down until it says "USB Connection" and press the "x" button.

    • 5

Navigate to the PSP drive once your computer confirms that an external device is connected. It will show up in the same directory as your C: drive, and will appear as an external hard drive icon.

    • 6

Drag and drop all the contents of your Audition game into a folder called "PSPGAME" in your PSP directory. When the transfer has finished, check to see that the game is loaded correctly by accessing your PSP's top menu and looking into the memory stick. You should see your Audition game there.
