How to Make PSP Skins

Creating your own, one-of-a-kind Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) skin is easy and will set your device apart from the many other PSPs out there. You can add images, shapes and text to any PSP, as well as setting a fun background color to contrast your custom images. The skin will also protect your PSP from getting scratched.

Instructions

  Visit the Skin It website. Select your PSP model, which is either PSP 3001, PSP 1000/2000 or PSP Slim. This will take you to a page that asks you to either create your own skin or choose from the site's designs. Click "Create Your Own."

  Set your background color by clicking the "Set Background Color" button and then choosing from the list of colors. To add an image to the skin, click on the "Images" button and then upload image files from your computer onto the site clicking "My Computer" and then "Select Your Image." Select your file from the explorer window that pops up. Select "Open." Drag the uploaded image onto the PSP, positioning it where you want it to be. You can add shapes and text the same way. Repeat this process for the back of the device by clicking on the pictured PSP "BACK."

  Click "Preview," and if you like the way it looks, click "Add to cart." If not, you can click "Back" and from there you can change the skin until you are satisfied with it. Once finished, click "Add to cart" and check out. Enter your payment information as well as your shipping address.
